Jorge González Yáñez is an architect and landscape architect based in Mexico City. He founded Lázaro in 2017, working across architecture, objects and landscape.
Before Lázaro, he worked at JSa, Bosque de Chapultepec and A911 on architecture, public-space and urban-design projects. Since 2025, he has also been co-director of TEPETL, a landscape architecture and territorial planning practice.
He holds a Master in Landscape Architecture with distinction from Harvard GSD and a Bachelor of Architecture from Tec de Monterrey. Selected recognitions include the Jacob Weidenmann Prize, the Fulbright Scholarship, the CEMEX Arquitecto Marcelo Zambrano Scholarship and the FONCA Young Creators Grant.
